Customer's benefit

GIS slewing ceiling cranes are the cost-effective alternative to pillar-mounted slewing cranes or complete crane systems. These slewing cranes have the advantage that they do not take up any floor space, as the slewing crane console is mounted on the load-bearing hall ceiling.

A suitable slewing arm (jib) can be selected on the basis of the intended use. An aluminium jib guarantees the smoothest possible running when moving the load, the GISKB steel profile offers an optimum ratio of load-bearing capacity, reach and running characteristics, an articulated jib ensures complete coverage of the working area thanks to its maximum swivel range, and an IPE jib guarantees maximum flexibility in terms of overall height, load-bearing capacity and function.

Together with our customers, we develop individual solutions for functional workplace design, so that the slewing jib crane serves as a supporting lifting device for assembly and order-picking workplaces with repetitive tasks, for lifting and conveying finished products or for loading machines. In combination with a GIS electric chain hoist including trolley (manual or electric), a GIS vacuum handling system or another load handling device, you get the complete crane system from a single source.
