Customer's benefit

Electric chain hoists are mainly used in the wind power industry to transport spare parts and tools from the ground up to the nacelle.

The GP electric chain hoist series benefits from the use of powerful motors with low operating temperature and cooling in wind power applications. In addition, the chain hoist for wind power technology has several special functions and features:

For example, there is an automatic switchover from high to low hoisting speed when the load hook approaches the end of the stroke. This function prevents the end position, i.e. the housing of the chain hoist, from being driven against at high speed. This could result in unsecured parts of the load (e.g. tools in a toolbox) falling down.

Another special feature is the protective bonnet over the load hook. This eliminates the danger of the load hook getting caught unintentionally somewhere on the long way up.
