"After extensive evaluation, we decided on a mobile aluminium slewing crane combined with an electric chain hoist and vacuum lifting device from GIS," said the managing owner of Erni AG, in Bremgarten, Aargau, after the commissioning. "In the past, two people had to take the up to 70 doors a day off the overhead conveyor after painting and palletise them manually. Now, thanks to the slewing crane and the vacuum unit with tilting, this process can be conveniently carried out by one person, which significantly increases productivity," Erni continued. "Instead of a fixed crane installation, we also have the flexibility to move the mobile slewing crane to another location if necessary, which we really appreciate."
