Customer's benefit

GIS slewing wall cranes are the cost-effective alternative to slewing pillar cranes or complete crane systems. Wall-mounted slewing jib cranes have the advantage that they do not require any floor space, as they are mounted on load-bearing concrete walls or existing columns.

With a slewing range of up to 180° (inner joint) or 330°, the slewing jib crane can cover an almost circular working area. In this way, loads can be moved to positions that cannot be reached with a straight jib. In addition, the knuckle boom enables the crane to go around obstacles that often occur in a production plant (e.g. supporting structures and machines).

Thanks to its smooth running and flexibility, the articulated crane is always used where fast handling of workpieces, work parts and small parts is required.
If high positioning accuracy is required, the knuckle boom can be equipped with a slewing force regulation and a rotation range limitation.

Wall-mounted slewing jib cranes consist of a horizontal jib arm and a bracket for attaching the slewing jib crane. At the tip of the jib arm the hoist is mounted, often a GIS handy telescopic model. This combination enables an eccentric load pick-up and is often used for feeding production machines or for tool changes.
